Virginia Hamilton, CPA
Virginia aka "Cimmer" is a California CPA (License #70422), a PwC ("Big 4 Accounting") Alumni and QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. She has over 25 years of experience in Finance and Accounting experience. Prior to starting JumpStart CPAs in 2017, she held numerous leadership roles at Silicon Valley companies, from tiny venture backed start-ups to billion dollar publicly-traded firms. She grew up in Portola Valley, CA and embodies the entrepreneurial spirit as a result of growing up with the who's who of Silicon Valley. Cimmer's focus at JumpStart CPAs is Accounting, Small Business Consulting, Quality Control and Business Development. Outside of the professional realm, Cimmer is a lifelong Equestrian who has won numerous championships in jumping competitions. She is also a fitness fanatic and has amazing 15 year old twin boys.
Lilia Pagulayan, EA
Lilia is an IRS Enrolled Agent (License #131575) with over 8 years of experience preparing taxes for both businesses and individuals. Lilia has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Polytechnic University of the Philippines and is currently enrolled in a Masters program in Business Administration at the University of the Philippines. Lilia is dedicated, diligent, detail oriented and deadline driven! Lilia's focus is at JumpStart CPAs is *only* on tax as that is her passion and area of expertise. Outside the professional realm, Lilia is into sustainable, organic gardening and gourmet coffee. Lilia grows all her own fruit and vegetables and donates excess food to local food banks.
Ben Dubin, MBA
Ben has an MBA from Harvard University and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. Ben is the founder of Health Gap Ventures, a venture capital fund focusing on disruptive digital health solutions to improve inequities in health care. Before Health Gap Ventures, Ben spent 15 years at Asset Management Ventures as a Partner, where he managed their early-stage Information Technology & Life Sciences Funds. Ben rounds out the JumpStart Team by providing start-up consulting with dynamic thinking on business structure, capital raising, networking, risk-taking, strategy, and growth marketing. Outside of the professional realm, Ben is into health and fitness and coaches baseball for his son's team.
